Built for drivers who refuse to let bad roads limit their adventures, the 2015 Subaru Forester 2.0i X-Mode gives you confidence whether you’re navigating Nairobi traffic, heading upcountry or exploring off the beaten path. If you want an SUV that’s comfortable during the week and capable on weekends, the 2015 Subaru Forester is hard to beat.
The bold SUV styling, generous ground clearance and confident stance give the Forester a timeless look that still turns heads today. Large windows provide excellent visibility, while the spacious boot and practical five-seat layout make it perfect for families, business owners and outdoor enthusiasts.
Under the bonnet sits Subaru’s dependable 2.0L (2000cc) naturally aspirated Boxer petrol engine, paired with a smooth Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission and Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. What truly sets this Forester apart is X-Mode—simply press a button and the vehicle intelligently adjusts engine output, transmission response, torque distribution and braking to maximize traction on muddy roads, loose gravel, slippery surfaces and steep inclines. Hill Descent Control further helps maintain a controlled speed on challenging downhill sections, giving you extra confidence when driving off the tarmac.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious cabin built around comfort and practicality. Depending on specification, imported Japanese units often feature heated leather seats, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats and a touchscreen infotainment system. Many higher-spec models also come equipped with Subaru’s renowned EyeSight Driver Assist package, offering features such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning for added safety during long-distance travel.
The 2015 Subaru Forester is perfectly suited for Kenyan roads. Its high ground clearance comfortably handles potholes and rough roads, while the naturally aspirated Boxer engine is known for its reliability and lower maintenance costs compared to turbocharged models. Subaru parts are readily available across Kenya, and the Forester continues to enjoy strong resale value, making it a smart long-term investment.
